what would be the highest compression you would run in a z. im wondering because of breaking the case at the kick starter, and how much the crank would hold.14:1 ?

It won't be the crank it will be a melted pitted stuck and #@$%ed piston if you go to high.I wouldent want to go so high you had to run race feul that would be a pain in the arse. :)

There are many better ways of gettng your engine to build more hp, then by upping the compression. The reliablity of your engine goes in the toilet when you start running super high compression.

Pipe, carb, port and polish will build tons of power and still be more reliable

i have all that stuff and run vp 108 leaded, i know what will happen, im just wondering as far as how high can you go withough really blowing trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro up
