Can I rebuid my rear caliper on my 200X? I didn't have any rear brakes when I got the bike, so I picked up one off of E-bay. Needless to say, every time I buy something off E-bay, i'm getting someone else's junk. Never Fails. So, it doesn't work like he said it did. Now I need to get it fixed before TrikeFest.
I pulled the pads off (which were into the metal) and compressed the piston back to put new pads on, but when I bled the brakes to push the piston back out, it won't move. I can spin it inside the caliper, but it won't push out on the pads. The brake fluid raises and lowers in the master cylinder when you press the pedal. Does the lid on the Master Cylinder need to be sealed (aka: pressurized)?
