I have been looking into buying a classic Corvette lately and have been studying books to learn more about the different years and options avaliable in those years. For example I have a book that tells how many 1968 Corvettes were made,in what color, with what avaliable options, what avaliable motor /tranny in different packages. How many red ones with T-Tops, how many without T-Tops etc. So why cant we find out from Honda how many units were produced in the 87 year as well as the shipping destinations. That is not top secret company info. I also know you can look up Harley Davidson and find their production records. It seems so simple. I think the only problem is non of us speek Japanese. I was gonna go up to my local Japanese restaurant and see if somebody there would know how to get back to the motherland. Or American Honda should be able to have the records of units imported. Why is it such a mystery

Welp--SO far we have found the 87 200X, 87 Big Red 250ES, and the 87 ATC125. THe R & the 350X still remain a mistory. We can savely say that the 500R & the 50R were -never- released & we will never find one, without flying over to Japan and kickin some japane ass @ the "Honda Museam" that supposesly esists.

I have a feeling that the Production #'s were not even avaiable for them. I think they just sold what models hey had left & that was it. We all know the sales #'s are jacked up on everything popular, even ATV's, so Honda wouldnt want to admit selling 40 ATC's!! :D
