I had the head shaved on my yamaha 175 tri-moto 20 thousands. I checked the compression prior to changing the head and it was 125lbs and now it is 135 lbs. Will that effect the jetting in the carb at all? ( will I need to run richer?). If so where do I get jets for the stock carb or can I just change the position of the needle in the carb. Thanks for your help Glenn Oister

Yes, usually when you change compression you will have to rejet. Raising the compression will make the engine run richer so you will need to lean it out. That means you would raise the clip on the needle if possible. You could also lean it out by running more oil in the fuel.
