"Sorry for the long story please bear with me"
Hey everyone i was hoping i could get some help. I have a 1985 Honda 250SX that i have never had a problem with, it has always been great. Anyhow last week we loaded it on the trailer with the other trikes and took off to go to the forest for a day of riding. Well we got there and unloaded them and thats when the trouble started i fired it up and went to take off but when i put it in gear and hit the gas it is like it is stuck in neutral the light will go off but it will not go. the shifter was a little loose too so after thinking about it i came to the conclussion that another trikes tire was against the shifter on the trailer so on the trip to the forest it must have jammed it or something because trailprotrailpro i put it on the trailer i rode it down the street and it was fine. So does anyone have any idea how i could fix this problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is normal caused by the shifting mechanisim ( sp? ) under the left side cover. More info on this can be found towards the bottom of this thread:

Heres a link to a thread on .org

It has a few pics of when I did this to my SX... its not hard to do but can take a little time. Good luck
