Bent axle on 200x

The left side of my axle is bent slightly on my 85 200x and is causing the wheel to wobble and tear tread. How much would I be looking to pay to get it repaired (if possible) How much will I be looking at for a new or used axle, and how much to install it? Maybe I could do myself with my 86' manual but i dunno. HOw hard is it?

Any competent bike or machine shop can straighten it for about $20.....

REALLYYY???? wow thats a relief... I guess I would need to take it off myself to keep that 20$ from turning into 100$ Is it hard to do?
