has anyone ever seen or heard of a honda 50r---its supposedly a 50cc 2-stroke full suspension atc---any info???
pics would b the best---even better yet--i would like to find one for sale---its been said to look like a small scaled 250r.......

i can safely say youll -never- find that.
That machine would of had the same fate as the infamous 87 250R, 350X, and 500R: In Honda's Top Secret Museam or scrapped and parted out int he late 80's/early 90's.

Yes, there was several mini-honda atc's, but they were prototypes and axed from the production slate.
There was (for sure) an atc50, a smaller counterpart to the little 70.
There were also quite a few other smallbore 2 stroke machines for the coveted mini racing scene. A cr80 based racer, and another 50cc racer were in the works. You can be fairly sure that most any of the Honda engines around at the time were used in a prototype trike at some point for R and D.
