G'day, I am not sure if this is a stupid question but can I put
22x12x10 tires on the back of my 250sx? I have 22X11X10 on there
now what do the numbers mean? And I wanna put a thinner tire like 200x on the front with the same rim what would be a size I could use with stocked 250sx front rims? Thanks for you help.

the 12 as opposed to the 11 in those two sizes just means that the tire width is one inch wider. 22" height, 11 or 12" width, and 10" rims. You can run those tires fine. As far as the front one goes, you won't be able to run a skinnier tire unless you use the hub, axle and rim off a 200x and probably some sort of spacer.

Actually, I think you can go down to a 10" wide tire without problems (as the wheel is 9" wide)
On mine, I had a 11" wide turf-tamer on the front (stock size), and it would rub the inside of the forks and it actually wore a pin-hole size hole into the fork, and started to leak fork oil. Every 4 months or so, I would have to go over the hole with JB-Weld.
