I have secured a 185s near to me and I am now wondering where I can go to get a replacement owner's manual and perhaps a shop guide. I plan on restoring the trike. The engine is running rich, so I plan on rebuilding the engine. Any thoughts?
8) I also have a 185 and would like to have a shop manual. Let me know if you find one.

Exactly what is the trike doing that makes you think it's running rich? If it just bogs down or blows black smoke or something, then you probably don't need to rebuild the engine. Just adjust the carb how the manual says when you get it and see if that helps. For a decent shop manual, try the Clymer, I have one and like it ok. Check ebay for a factory manual too, they go into alot more detail and get more bike-specific. Also, if you need any parts, I have a 185s that I'm parting out

I am only going by what I am told since I won't see it until Monday. I was planning on doing a full resto on the trike and figured I would rebuild the engine anyway. I should have phrased the question better. Anyway, I have tracked down the manual at an online motorcycle book store. It's $20 for the Clymer. The guy selling it (185s) to me says it is running rich. It has been fouling plugs and blowing a little black smoke. Still starts and runs fine, though.
