i sent a frame,,, unwrapped ( naked so to speak ) to kansas from michigan for 7.50 ( goldie never did pay me - my first burn )

anyway,,, the postal gal said if she could balance it on her scales she'd ship it ,,,
i used a wire tag for the shiping info on it and sent it parcel post for that amount.

I sent a Tri-Z frame to Firecate and just wraped it in bubble wrap and tape and shipped as is. I guess it made it there without any issues.

I have shrinkwrapped frames for Mike from L.I. and he ships them through the post office. I think they average around $35.

What? 100$??? No way dude. I shipped it Fedex Ground and it was like 20$. I ship everything Fedex ground cuz its the dheapest way. I shipped an entire Tri Z trike from TN to WI in boxes and it only cost me 125$ for all of it. So I would shop around on the shipping costs.

You talked directly with UPS, and gave them the correct dimensions and weight? or is this what the seller told you? Its not correct. Around $35 is about right between those locations, unless its packaged in a way that makes it exceed the oversize 2 limitations which adds another $50. I wrap and tape anything sticking out, and then shrink wrap mine. They add $5 for non standard packaging. Im shipping another frame today from Ohio to Texas. Total UPS cost to residential address is $27.23.
