I need to hone my cylinder for knew rings and after I hone it I want to make sure the piston to cylinder wall clearance isn't too much for the stock size piston. Could someone with a Clymer or owners manual tell me the normal and max. piston to cylinder wall clearance. I just have the stock cast piston.

Another question I have is what can be done with valve seats, not valve guides, valve seats. If they are worn do they need replaced or can I grid and lap a new valve to them.

Sorry I have a 1982 Honda 200 "plain 200"

Thanks

clymers manual says to take to a dealer to have valve seats re-conditioned.
not much more said for the valves them selves either,,, replace if any knicks or screw ups .
if you click the picture below it should get large enough to read ( i hope anyway).
