I know that they should be gapped to .08mm with a feeler guage, but how exactly do you gap them? What do you gap and how? Thanx again.

Make sure the cam is not pressing on the rockers. The feeler gauge goes between the adjuster on the rocker arm and the top of the valve. If there is a gap, which there should be, you should be able to move the rocker just a little and here it hit the valve. There should be a nut on the adjuster which you will need to back off in order to turn the adjuster if the gap is not right. Adjust it so that there is just a slight drag on your feeler gauge. Once it is set in place, tighten the nut back down without letting the adjust move, that is where is it trickey. If you have a small enough wrench, you can get on on the adjuster and on the nut. I don't so I use a pair of lock jaws to hold the adjust still while I put a wrench on the nut. Once it is tight, turn the engine over a few times by hand and check the gap again just to make sure. Good luck.

The bit end of a #2 Robertson head screw fits the adjuster perfectly! Makes the process go easier than using a set of pliers under the gas tank!
