84' 125 part question?????

I bought this 84 125 wheeler and it came w/ a rubber ring filled w/ small springs. the seller said that it needed this part to quit smokin.. just curious as to where this part might go or any sites on the net (part diagrams) i could go to and see where this little "O-ring" thangy fits. any help would be much appreciated. the part number is: 91204-HB2-003 thanks

Sounds like what you've got there is a dust seal. They are used on suspended forks and on axles, right after the bearings....
