Can a 200x carb fit on my Big Red 200?

I'm pretty sure that a 200x carb would fit on my '83 Big Red 200 because that's what I've heard, or is that wrong. If it does, would that give me a bit more power? Would I have to get new jets for it or is it just remove replace and use it stock on the Big Red? Thanks

You might want to ask "AtcMatt" I beleive he did exactly that on his 200es.

Nope, I had the stocker on my 200es, it was the 200x throttle assembly i had.

You would need to also mount up a 200X or XR200 intake as well. The Stock 200E carb is 22mm while the 200X's is 24mm. I'm 99% sure the spigot diameters are different although the bolts might line up.
