How much is an 84 tecate 3 (kxt 250) worth restored? I have one with a new air filter, rebuilt carb, intake manifold, new top end, new plastics, swingarm bushings, and repainted pretty much everything. thanks

I will have pictures posted next week. I plan on seeling it locally as soon as i get it all bck together. The top end was rebuilt about 9 years ago. Shortly after my unlce crashed it and it sat in our garage ever since i was little. I recently unearthed it and got it running again. I have had several atv but this things is fast. Guys, if ebay is any indicator, $1000 tops. Unless it's an 86/87 people just aren't getting much for them... no matter what the condition.

I live near appleton, WI. I will have pictures of the KXT and my Quadzilla as soon as i figure out how to post them? In the mean time check this out, and let me know what you think? http://www.thevirtualhq.com/section8
I ride with them and do all of their video and picture editing. We should have a couple shows set up a WIR (wisconsin international raceway) this year, among others.

Ryno,

I'm in Neenah so we're from the same area. I'd guess you can get between $900 and $1200 for the Tecate. Last year I looked at an 86 in Fond du Lac that went for $1400 despite being in fair condition, but as Ange said the newer style usually go for higher money. There aren't as many Kawasakis around here so maybe you'll luck out and find a Kawi fan in the right place at the right time.
