i have sold 3 complete running trikes on ebay. 2 of the people drove over + paid cash and i shipped one (after it was paid for in advance ).
they probbly have as many fears about buying a 20ish year old trike as you might selling to somebody over the internet.

Why are you getting rid of your Tecate?

I have sold 2 trikes on ebay. I made sure it was clear that I would leave negative feedback, if machine wasn't paid for. Both guys paid cash when they picked them up.
To save yourself the hassle of several unwanted emails. Make sure you list your location, if you will help with shipping or if you will deliver for a fee. I always have everyone wanting to know the reserve bid. I always put "NO SHIPPING" just like that and still get emails asking if I will ship.

I have sold one trike on ebay, the guy came that following weekend and paid for it in cash. No problems with big items. Now with smaller items like parts i have had several deadbeats!

Thanks for the replies.
Edog I dont have a tecate I have an 86 350X all original except the seat cover. Just restored and now need the money. So I have to get rid of it, which sucks. Someone will have a nice trike after they buy it. I was wondering what kind of price I could expect? I bought it for $1400 then I have a lot of hours into restoring it and a few hundred dollors. I think Im just going to also reserve the right to end auction early if anyone will pay $1500 cash. Thats the lowest I would take hopefully I can get that I really dont want to part this trike out it looks really good and many hours of work.
