I am restoring a 84 250r and was wonder if there is a interchange manual for the 250r? What will interchange within the years?

81-84 will work.

Almost everything from a 1983 model will work. There are some differences in the swing arm linkage but that is the only major change between 83 and 84. The earlier R's (81-82)only have the engines the same with the 84. Not much else is the same. I guess if you had to you could put some 81-82 parts on your 84 (like carb, forks, etc.) but I wouldn't overly recommend it, there are reasons for updates.
The liquids have nothing except the rear master brake cylinder incommon. Not to say that you can't use some parts, but as a rule not much is of use to you there. I have a complete 1985 front end (forks, brakes, wheel, etc.) on a 1983 r.
