One of my old buddies just called and asked if i could find him a bike for cheap(i try and get as many people as i can to buy trikes), so i started makin calls and lookin for ads and i found a dr225 close to our hometown. So we went there and he liked it so he bought the 225 for 350$. The only thing i find weird on this trike is that in reverse you can go through all 5 gears going backwards. (beleive me its freakin fast going backwards in 4th!!!) The trike runs great but im wondering if that is normal. I thought they only had 1 gear in reverse.???????

Normaly they can only be put in reverse in 1st gear. I had a Ymaha 200 quad that could go in reverse in all the gears like yours does but that is because I took out the piece that keeps it from doing so. On the quad there is a rod that goes into the trans. from the cover by the shaft which acts as a safty switch, when I took mine apart I couldn't get it back together the right way so I just left it out. Then I had 5 reverse gears.

Mine worked fine but I did not have it much longer before I sold it. I don't know if it would be good to go really fast or anything but I don't see how it could hurt it.

There is no cons to it. The pros, you can go real fast in reverse  and you save an ounce or two! :p
