First off i took my x for a ride the other day and got it submerged in a river, at that point it died. i got it home, drained the oil and put in a few more bottles, dried off filter, but while drying the filter i accidentally ripped the foam from the frame attachment so now it is just attached to the metal peice and not the base. I got it to crank and started to ride it and noticed right off its not running right, no amount of torque at all, tops out at about 20 maybe if im lucky and is lugging verry noticibly. To top it off it is spitting out grey colored oil from that hose coming from the bottom of the motor that runs up beside the seat just above the swingarm. So apparently i haven't got all the water out cuz it is still turning my oil into milk. Please help, i have no clue on what to do now....And if anybody has a new filter(preferably high performance) and jet kit they would be willing to get rid of i would appreciate it.....thanks guys talk to u later

There are water eliminating products on the market. One is called motoflush or motorflush. Just follow the directions on the bottle.

Drain the oil again and then add more oil to the engine. Remove the sparkplug and use your hand to cycle the kickstarter a couple times. Drain the oil while tilting the trike. Pour atleast one quart of oil thru the engine while it is tilted and then fill it normally. This porcess should get 95% of the nasty oil out of the engine.
I always did this when I lived in the states and I recently did it to my 200X to get all of the nasty burnt oil out of the engine shortly after purchase.

So, is the airfilter attached to the motor at all? If its not, there is too much air getting sucked in which could cause the lagging and no power. I would drain the oil again and rinse the motor out with deisel or the "motorflush" stuff that whiteman350x was talking about. Buy some cheap oil and run it a few minutes, change it and repeat until all the junk is out and you have good clean oil. Then drain it again and put in some better quality oil in it.
