well i am thinking of selling a few of these to get a streetbike
86 tecate: runs great(starts 1st kick), all stock, tank faded, new brakes, rebuilt shock, nos front and rear fenders (not installed)
86 tecate ex racer, 40mm carb, ext axle(i measured at least 6 over stock) 8"wheels and hubs, vented a box lid, calfab +3 swinger, steering stabilzer , rebuilt/revalved shock, needs frt tire, some bearings (have them) runs well. bassani pipe(may be dg) new dg silencer(comes with headlight too)
85 tecate: runs great, rebuilt forks/shock, nos rad grill and headlight, new bearings everywhere, nice clean stocker(even has stock grips) needs little
85 atc250r: pretty machine, starts and runs mint, new oem rear fenders, overall very nice macine, new frt tire(oe) has a few scrapes on the tank and a cracked frt fender
I am just looking to see what the consensus is on what they are worth.

Nick you should be able to get a great amount out of all of those trikes. Im interested in the hubs if you want to sell them. Are they 4x110 bolt pattern?

I'd say $4500-$5200 for all. Give or take a couple hundred.

$4500-$5200 Maybe selling together but selling seperate you would get atleast $1500+ out of each trike. IMO I would put them on ebay and set your reserve at the lowest price you will take. Just dont sell them together or you wont make as much.

if they are as nice as they sound, they are worth quite a bit

i count 3 trikes..........multiply that times $1500 = 4500....now then that being said.....4500 -5200 sounds about right if you sell them as complete trikes...people do make more parting them but to me that is alot of work for a little bit extra money....i would sell the green junk and keep the 250r... good luck...

it sounds like you got a very nice collection there nick. its all gonna come down to what do you really want to do with the trikes. do you need money , then sell something. myself ,it would be a difficult decision , to say the least!!!i think i would sell one of the tecates( you got 2 right?) and maybe the trx , just because they are a bit easier to come by , but again its not an easy decision and i wish you luck.....

I counted 4

well i am thinking of selling a few of these to get a streetbike
1. 86 tecate: runs great(starts 1st kick), all stock, tank faded, new brakes, rebuilt shock, nos front and rear fenders (not installed)
2. 86 tecate ex racer, 40mm carb, ext axle(i measured at least 6 over stock) 8"wheels and hubs, vented a box lid, calfab +3 swinger, steering stabilzer , rebuilt/revalved shock, needs frt tire, some bearings (have them) runs well. bassani pipe(may be dg) new dg silencer(comes with headlight too)

Maybe Im wrong? Also I wasnt talking about parting them out. What I was trying to say was dont sell them grouped together sell each trike seprate(sp?)

well i know that i won't sell the trx250r, it is literally new and it don't think anyone would pay what i think it is worth(i turned 5000 down). i wold think the one 86 stocker tecate is worth at least 2100, the 250r 1700 and the tecate racer(86) i would just be better off parting. the 85 tecate is the one i have a soft spot for...but. who knows. I am afraid of ebaying these cause i had a spare trx250r frame and sold it like 4 times on ebay to get deadbeat bidders 3 times(and about 125 in fees because of it).

If you do ebay them just make it clear that people with a certain amount of negative feedback are not welcome to bid and that they must have atleast a certain amount of feeback or you will cancel thier bids because of the problems others have caused before.

Something like
Anyone with a negative feedback or anyone who doesnt have a feedback of 20+ cant bid unless contacted first. Sorry but I have lost to much money on deadbeat bidders. Dont just think once or twice before you bid please think 3 or 4 times before you hit that button. Thank you!

im kinda in the same situation. The folks just bought a house on the lake, and are wicked lame people. They are in no real hurry to get a boat, but I really like water skiing and tubing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, etc. I want my kids to be active and into activities like that and team sports as well. I would like to have a decent Ski Nautique, Supra or Supreme inboard ski boat, but I really dont want to spend my savings or borrow alot of money to get it. Then there is this Tiger 250 sitting around, that I will NOT ride, my kids will NOT ride and while its sitting home in the garage, I will be standing on the beach thinking "boy, it would be sweet to go skiing today................."
