differant style of honda 110

when did they start making the 110. how many diffent style where there. i know that the early ones had round headlight. theres a 110 coming up for sale at a farm auction and u can get them pretty cheap. maybe $250

They made them from 79-85. Blue 110's are the rare ones and they came out 83-85.
79-81 had the round headlight, 82-85 had the rectangle headlight.

Honda made 2 different style 110's. There was the 1979-1982 ( looked the same as a ATC90 ). In 1983 they changed the design of the machine. The later models are a big improvement in looks ( IMO ) over the older ones.


They made them from 79-85. Blue 110's are the rare ones and they came out 83-85.
79-81 had the round headlight, 82-85 had the rectangle headlight.

Actually the only year for a Blue 110 was 1983. This is straight out of the Honda Identification manual.

I've got a Blue 84 110 Howdy and another guy did some research and he sayed honda made them from 83-85 but I've only seen 83 & 84.
He also said that my 84 is really a 84 by the sticker design on the gas tank.

i went up and looked at it and it is decent shape. the fenders are cracked a little and the seat is ripped in 3 spots. stills has the ohtsu tires on it the rear tires are 22 but look like 25 or even a little bigger. lights works. so maybe ill go up and c if i can get it cheap.

the number off of the frame is atc110-2040531 so that would make it an 79 right.

Yep, that frame number comes back as a 79 model.

How do I have a 84 then? when some one that works at Amercian Honda said that mine is a 84 then. The title says 84 frame sticker says 84.
The person that got the info said he has sale slips from 84 & 85 saying that blue was a option.
And the link isn't working for me.

Hey i got a red 83 ATC110 that me and my friend (yamahaman89) are fixin because it wus sittin in my grandparents shed fer a couple years unused so the carb wus shot. But so far i only know of two different colors. I dunno if theres more but...well wutever u prolly aint readin this anyway

Was it 83 or 84 that the chain adjustment was modified??
The early ones used a atc70 style system and the later ones had a moving back axle.

We have got one of both and the ride is quite a bit different. One is about 2 inches longer than the other.

My only guess for it being sold as a 84 or 85 is they might have been 83's that didn't sell, or they put a 83 tank, fenders, ect on it.
