This came with it to, also there is a full exhaust, might be white brothers, and one hell of a big carb, should i keep all of this or sell it and change it back to stock, i have all the brand new factory parts which were only on it on the assembly line, they were taking off as soon as it sold

I'd keep it all. That is all great stuff. BTW, what trike is it on? That trike must be very fast! The more power, the better! lol. Plus, it all proves what you have on it.

It might have caused it to break, but I'd doubt it. Either the connecting rod was older, where it was weaker from use, or the 452 is such a big diplacement, that it broke. If it broke becuase the cam and carb, then it might have gotten too much air, and fuel, and hydrolocked, but it would take a lot of pressure. It actually broke the rod!? That must have been a big shock. Usually hydrolocking only bends the rod.

The term is hydraulicing.
This happens when a liquid has been subjected to compression. Since it will not reduce, the weakest point will give, and in an engine, that's generally the rod. Also, on stroked engines, it's not a good idea to over rev as the increased throw creates greater stress on the rod, again the weakest link. Short throw engines rev, long throw engines torque...
On the cam numbers, the lift and duration is how well, and where that particularl cam works. The more the duration, and overlap, the higher up the rpm range the power will come on. The higher lift opens the valves a bit more to ease the breathing.

Hydraulicing? Never heard it like that. I was thinking hydraul locking, or for short, I've heard it as Hydrolocking. I know what you mean as hydraulicing, but thats the term for when a something has been overcompressed?

i would keep it and use it again! that is some cool stuff., i've never seen a mikuni carb "kit" like that.., thats neat, and you even have the box., 350x's are known for weak rods., but i doubt the stuff was the cause of it, unless you were overreving alot
