Need help with rims

I have clear aluminum rims (not gold) on my 200X and the clearcoat looks like hell. Does anyone know the best way to strip the clearcoat so I can then polish the rims with some Mothers polish or something. Please help. I want my rims to look better.

If nobody knows how to polish alum rims then where might be the best place to buy new rims. Are most ATV and ATC rims universal with regards to fitting in the rear?

The only long term method is to have them profesionally stripped and re-anodized.

couldnt you just use a paint remover? like a spray on kind? Or use brake cleaner.
