I believe the front forks on my 86 200x to be shot as well as the rear (I have another post for the rear, any help please check it out!) the guy i got it from raced and jumped it so the axel was bent, etc. Well, The front forks rebound ok, but they just dont feel right.... How would I know if they need fixed or replaced....the oil hasnt ever been changen in the forks ill bet. Also, what is the pressure supposed to be in them for average trail riding?
THANKS!!!!!

their should be no air presser in the forks the air things are to let AIR OUT! and change the seals and the oil and it will make a world of diff and if more is needed put 1 inch spacers in the top !

I believe in the manual it says u can run up to 10psi in the forks for different riding conditions. The caps are not for just letting air out.

I know that, lol. The caps are for in or out, but you would have to manuallly let air out, and why would you wanna do that? Lol Well, anyone have a set of GOOD working forks for 86/87 200x?
