Well I there is a local ATV shop moving their salvage yard away from us and I took advantage of this to snag a few good things to add to my collection. They are needing help but for the price I couldnt refuse plus I got another Tri Z to pic up in the next few days to combine with this one.

A couple questions.......first has anyone ever seen a disc brake kit fot the 81-82 R? This one has a nice disc brake on the front that really looks great!

Second, how do you tell the year of the Tri Z??? I have the VIN# JY31RX00100000359 . It has red and white colors to my knowledge and a blue seat but not sure its original color. A few pics.... Yes the Tri-Z needs help but I figure between the 2 rolling chasis and 2 motors one should be nice and the other for parts.

OK Cool I didnt know that. There arent too many 2 strokes around the south compared to utility trikes so please excuse my ignorance.

Front discs were stock on the 81-2 ATC 250rs. The 81 had a rear drum system, while the 82 was a disc....

check the site specs...

The Z does look like a 86 by te color scheme. I can't be certain since you don't have the engine in it though..

Well hey it looks alot better in pics cuz it needs work bad. But I am sure with the 2 tri z's you could make one of them work nicely and still have plenty of parts to play with.

Well if you should know......the dude took most of the "flat track" stuff off before selling it. The shock is there and its far from blown. It has some sort of link on it that makes it lower...I think. Does matter to me cuz they are getting traded off to someone that is going to redo them and make them look sweet.
