Just Got 82 250 R completely stripped down to sand blast tonight. Having a real hard time finding 83-84 front end to get rid of the balloon tire. Can't I just add spacers to the front hub and put a different wheel on there? Also having a hard time deciding on to bore out or leave stock ? Any suggestions??:-D

I like the balloon tire on the older R's. Why dont you keep it?? If you do change it, keep the original front end. I personally dont like frankenstien trikes, IMHO.

I wouldnt bore it unless it REALLY needed it. Stock is nice for an aircooled R.
