What kind of sand tires should I purchase for my 350X?

It depends on what kind of riding you plan on doing.

If you plan on drag racing only then buy Skat Trak haulers.

If you plan on riding trails and just casual riding then buy a v paddle. If it were me I would buy the cheapest v paddle you can buy, because with a trike you will always get enough traction to lift the front end off the ground. To much traction is the issue I have with my 250R running haulers.

Straight paddles make it hard to turn. Most people on here will tell you sand skate II is the only tire to buy. I say sand sharks are a decent cheap tire.

I agree with smokinwrench. Get a V paddle. I felt that the rear end was too squirlly side to side with haulers. I think the Sand Skate II is the best V paddle, but there are others that are similar

Thanks for the opinions guys. I went to the little sahara and I borrowed some sand skate2's. They hooked up fine but didn't lift the front end up to good. I am thinking about getting straights. Will my 350X have enough power to turn them over good enough. It is all stock except for a K&N filter. Thanx.

The stright paddles will not lift more. How much air was in the paddles. If you want more bite, use less air.

I let a lot of air out of them. The sand was pretty moist. They were used paddles but still had a lot of heigth to them.

your right atcnut....even though paddles are getting more technically advanced..you still need to adjust pressure

chevron style allows better handling than a straight paddle
