TRI Z Racer

alright, i just did the wrench report phase 2 to my Z and needless to say, my financial situation as of now is not the greatest due to college and whatnot. My z is just falling on its face in the mid to upper range. i have a 38mm vm mikuni carb. i also have the 2.5 slide instead of the 3.0. but to compensate i have a 340 main jet. i have the 50 pilotjet and the Q-0 needle jet. i cannot fine the correct needle as specified in the wrench report. the local dealer cant een find them in the books. the report says 6f45-3, the closet thing ive seen is a 6f4 or 6f5, so the dealer gace me 3 needles to try. i am currently using the skinniest one i have. i am working my way up with the clip on the needle.

Is my logic right, am i doing this correctly, can anyone help me out or steer me in a better direction?

I run it up through the gears in the parking lot of where i work, and come back and check the plug, i ride it for maybe 45 secs hard. is that enough time to read a plug?

CAN ANYONE HELP?
