here's the scoop

i found a full suspension trike with a 90 stroker motor in it some of the goodies on it was full flow oil system , cam, 26 keihin carb, manual clutch

it had been sitting outside here in so cal so it was pelted by rain but never freezing temps

the piston was rusted solid in the barrel and it sat for a long time in my back yard

until one day....

i realized i had a roller frame

and that i had a stock 110 with a cracked stock frame

so i thought strip the stock one

slam everything on the suspended frame

then fix the stock frame and keep it so i could (if i want ) slam it back

so for everyone here...this is my project

What carb are you going to use with it?
Do you know if it adds any hp?

bigred110....at this point in time im using bored 110 motor with stock intake and carb in the project

all parts to the stroker motor are together and im thinking of taking my time and eventually getting the stroker going. i even saved coil ...its not stock and it looks like a old schooling hotter ignition coil..

dont have a pic but will get one of the coil

thought i would run into a snag hooking up the brakes. there was a cable connection on the frame but the previous owner had some kind of hard wire jigged

so i blindly went down to Veys to look for a brake cable with certain characteristics in mind... much to my suprise a 185 cable fits perfect
cost $3.00

i also thought i would have a prob mounting the shock canister but it fits perfect

i can only tell ya that MrATC said it was a MTC frame...never asked him what MTC stood for....

MrATC wanted to buy it off me and freshen the stroker and to put HIS tripleclamps and forks on it

it also came with axle extensions and carlisle paddles

What a great project! I love those Turf Tamers!

The ATCs should have been suspended from the git-go.

mymint87
03-19-2004, 09:35 PM
turf tamers....sorry i didnt even look ..i had them in my barn for a couple years...they came with a 70 i bought for my daughter

i'm with ya jeb...love those tires in the rear

i wanted to go with that "flat tracker" look that some trikes have

i thought those tires would look better on the frame

time for paint....

i bought a 84' 200x fender from Veys ($10.00) and painted it

but i dont like the looks of it on the project so i'll leave it off for now

i brought the frame down to Veys and tried holding up several fenders ...

i tried
350x 85'
250r 85'
tri z 85'
200x 84'

and ended up chosing the 200x but when i attached it and stood back to take a look....i just not quite doing it for me

fidn soem frotn brake assembley that will fit it to.

id shure liek to hook soem fortn forks up to are 110.

jason200x...those are all really cool ideas

but for now the budget on this project is maxed

the trikes not going anywhere i'll just be using it as a camp cruiser or to put over to the sand drags

in a couple of years maybe i'll finish the stroker motor and then have enough cash to dump for chrome and custom paint over a new tank and plastics

mymint87

and finally, the smaller tires plus aluminum rims make it a quick little thing..the frame is solid and smooth compared to the old flexing, cracked, bouncy P.O.S. stocker frame
