Got me the 2004 spring/summer rockymountain catalog today. I've had the 2004fall/winter for awhile. go figure. It lists nerfs for the 250r atc.

I Just got off the phone with Rockymountain.... The woman said it was 4 the wheel spacers.... if you look to the left you'll see where the advertisement is....she said they don't carry nerf bars for the ATC 250R... its a bummer cause i was about to get some :?

I looked at an 85R that was used for ice racing. The guy had a set of nerfbars for it that looked very nice. He said it was a hondaline accesory. Could have been b.s., but they looked to good to be custom.

sorry but nerfs on a 3 wheeler is rediculous. The nice thing about a wheeler is they are more like a motorcycle, not a golf cart with all the bolt on garbage. I think this is the dumbest thing i have ever heard about doing. Almost as dumb as putting a big echo can on your little Honda car. Its right up there with the giant wing spoilers on the little rice rocket cars.

lol nerf bars were made for 3 wheelers by a few different companies in the mid 80s. im pretty sure hondaline was one of them. they may look odd but if you were circle track racing at 90 to 100 mph with guys sliding up into you , you would be glad to have em.

the only bad thing about them would be they would bend easily if you rolled because there is no protection in front of them

they were a triangle shape not square like the quads. i believe that is what you are thinking. they were strong enough. i nver had a set myself but did see some . they were more popular with the tt and oval guys.

I too, would be curtious as to why someone would want them now? They do have a purpose, and if you dont need them for that specific purpose, they only serve as a hindrance. I think Nerfs would rank somewhere on my list of top ten things many people think they have to have, but have no idea why. Maybe Ill start a separate post for top ten!
