I would like to put new pads on my 200X and was wondering is there any good aftermarket pads out there for my trike? Or should i spend the better dollar and get OEM?

If you ride a lot of mud and go through a lot of brake pads like I do, the only fatermarket pad Ive ever found that measures up to OEM were EBC, and they too are priced. Ive tried several other aftermarket pads, and I can burn off a set in a weekend.

I am using the braking brand sintered metallic pads on my 350x, and where I ride *lots of sand and mud* they seem to be holding up good. The good metallic pads will run you around 30 bucks, but the cheapies cost 20, and like Tim says, one weekend at haspin, or elsewhere with the right kind of mud will trash them fast.

Go with OEM. They are not that much more and really last. Most of the cheaper aftermarket ones lasted me about a month or 2 and I don't ride that much.
