I just rebuilt my rear caliper on my 86 250r and it is working fine. I am still not getting any pressure to my brake. The rear master cylinder is leaking. I took the dust boot off and it was pretty oily. What parts do I need to fix this leak? Or if anyone has one for sale that would fit my 86 that would be cool too. Thanks
Also will an 85 rear master cylinder fit and work on my 86?

This place has some new for sale. I have been thinking of trying one on my 200x and one for my RD 400. They look really similar...I wonder if the bolt holes are universal? Maybe this will help. :-D

The 85 and 86 250R rear master cylinders are the same. Dennis kirk and Honda both sell rebuild kits for the rear master cylinder. The kits have a new piston with rubber seals and a new return spring. As long as your old piston isn't stuck it's a fairly easy job to do.
