The tail light is on the same circuit as the headlight. Make sure that your light switch is on and that you have a good bulb. Does your headlight work?

Well, the wire comin comin out of the frame was twisted together and had no electrical tape wrapped around  .I soldered male and female connecters, and worked that out, still not working. I will change the bulb and see what happens.

If that doesn't work you can down to Auto Zone and got two red taillights for $2.50 each and they work great on mine. ;)

If it's wired like a 125M (they're really similiar trikes) I don't think that the tailight comes on when you depress the brake. It should only come on when the headlight is on. My 250SX is that same way.

I did get a two stage bulb working in my 250SX, but only in the back of my truck. I tapped the wires leading to my taillight, and ran about four feet of wire with a two stage bulb attached out of my rear stake pocket. I pull the 250SXs wire and bulb out of the taillight, and insert the wire and bulb tapped from my truck taillight into the taillight of the trike. It's looks really cool when I cruise around with the machine in back. With my truck headlights on, my taillights (truck and trike) are lit. When I hit the brake, all the lights brighten. In effect, the 250SX taillight acts just the same as my trucks do. I'm pretty certain it adds some horsepower to both vehicles too. 8)

Ok, my brake light doesn't come on when I stop, it just stays solidly lit while my headlight is on,correct?

Bigred110, could you post some pics of that set up,last night I tried taking the tailght lens off but the bolt stripped :x .Do those tailights have 2 wires comin out of them?(1 ground the other connecting to the red wire, right?). thanx

This is just one of those things I am trying to fix, along with brakes, the lawnmower exhaust, pinhole leak in the tank, and idling correctly :D  .Oh well, I love my atc, and wouldn't trade it for a new quad EVER :-D

The tail light is not a brake light. It should go on with the headlight.
