i got this motor from a friendhe gave it to me to get it out of his shop. i know its a 81' yamaha but anyone know what size it is i was think to put it into a trike frame with lots of mods done to it. :-P
if you guys need more pics just ask

Dosen't look to good but you have a Yamaha 750. Same one the is in my bike, they came in the Seca 750, and Maxim 750. It would be nice in a trike frame but heavy.

yea i know it's a heavy one... if i am not mistaken seca had that printed on their side covers right that was the only way to tell them apart?

i was mainly thinking putting in my go-kart i am making...also you got some pics of your drive shaft and rear wheel couplings you could send me the fox? and a pic of the carb?

The Seca is kind of sporty well the Maxim is more of a cruser, the engine is the same in both. I would send you the pics. but the bike is home and I am at school 400 miles away and I don't go home till May. Now that I think about it I do have a Haynes manual here that I can scan some pages for you if you want. Just let me know what you need, I can email them tomorrow. I do have a parts bike if you need something but again, I won't be home till may. I did notice that there are some carbs. on ebay now, here is the link

wish my motor looked like that lmao...it will on day. i though it would be a good go-kart motor actually more like odessy :-P . i don't konw for sure of what i may need i am still trying to get the top end off. one bolt just wont come out!

how does the throttle cable attach to all those carbs? :? lol never worked on a motor like this

All the carbs. have a bar attaching their throttal butterflies, the cable comes in between the middle carbs. It is a pull cable. The top arrow shows the cable mount, the bottom arrow shows where the cable hooks up to.
