I have bourght 2 different sets of rear tires already of ebay that didnt work out, so I finally decided to go spend some extra money to get some nice tires. I got a set of 20/11/8 's comming to me tommorrow, so I should be able to use them this weekend. I payed 70$ per tire, so I think i saved like 10$ on the pair. Im excited to finally have some good looking tires on my sx. I will post some pics when I get them mounted

$70 per tire?? you got ripped! you could have got a set of them from treadepot.com for like $130 shipped for the set. sounds like a a lot but thas only $57 a tire and then shipping. and no chance of bein ripped off like you can be on ebay.

I think you did fine--That's about the going price for razrs. Some of the magazine ads say $52 a tire or whatever but they charge $50 for shipping. You did alright and the razrs are awesome tires.--I've got 20" kenda klaws on my sx and love the smaller tires. You'll lose a little top end but it's well worth it. It'll handle more like a sport trike and it's easy to get them loose.

I didn't get the razr2's, but they do look f*cking awesome in that picture! I really only need them for the woods trail ridding i do, I dont look to go hauling trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro all over the place or anything. The 20's look nice mounted and I hople they'll do alright in the mud. I'm just glad I didn't mount the 18 inch Kenda Bulldogs I first bought! though would have really been a mistake! :D

I would have to say that 20'' is the smallest you would want to go for trail riding. You made a good choice.

I think 22's are really about as small as you want to go, even with them on I was wishing for another gear and had to keep in mind not to overev the motor. I have a set of holeshots on mine and they do okay, they ride nice.

whata re some good tires for mud and dirt? do the razors work well in the mud? right now i have some huge woolyboogers that came on the 200s. they are great for mud and dirt but they also very easly make some huge marks in the yard just idleing through the yard. but they are huge and ugly and want to get some smaller tires but i assume i may have to regear with smaller tires will make the gearing to low.

nitekrawler, that was my experience with 20" tires on my 250sx(which is what ATCaddict bought his for). They are geared low enough with 22" tires,IMO. They might work well on your '82 250r, I wouldn't know, never owned/rode one before.

Chuck, if you want something for the mud, go with mudmachines. There is no other
