I have a 110 carb. and intake just layin around, and I got a crazy idea. I want to cut the mounting base on the zinger intake, and weld it to the 110 intake. My question is, is there a differince between a 2-stroke and 4- stroke carb.? I am thinking there isn't. Oh, and I am going to run a clamp-on filter, so the airbox is not a problem. Man, I need to quit gettin ideas for this little zinger, and get it to final assy. ! :D
A carb is a carb, period. But there are some differences in the mounting. A "4-stroke carb" usually has a flange with holes in it, or studs to it can mount to another flange. A "2-stroke carb" is usually just a piece on the end, that slips into a rubber piece(intake boot) and is clamped down. Your idea sounds like it will work. How many MM is a Zinger carb, and how many MM is a 110 carb?

Yeah that what I figured, cool. I am using a 110 intake also, and using the zinger intake base,so mounting won't be a problem. I need to look up the specs, but the 110 carb. is MUCH bigger. I am also using a pw50 FMF expansion chamber, with no silencer. And it has boyesen reeds, is bored 50 over, and will have the 110 Kand N filter. This one won't be for the kiddies. :-D
Sounds like a fun little deal! Got and pics?
