It comes in 2 pieces, header pipe and silencer just like many of the 2 strokes. Its for my 74 atc90. I cannot for the life of me get the two pieces together. The silencer has a bigger inside diamater than the header pipe, but it will not slide over it. The pipe is brand new I had to order it. Is there supposed to be a rubber piece that connects them? Or am I losing my mind. Help is appreciated.

Put one on my 200s a while back, i cut it up and re welded it so it would come out in the normal spot, instead of the center, it was a tight fit going to gether had to beat it on

I think they forget about the thickness of paint on the header pipe! I ended up having to sand the paint off mine with a grinder, and 'stretch' the silencer edge open a hair to get the one on my 350X to slide over. Atleast it's so tight, I don't need to worry about a spacer or clamping it! ;) Next time, I think I'll just put the header on first without the silencer..... their paint seemed to smoke and bubble off the header! It'll save me the grinding. :?
