i tore down one of my 200es motors and noticed that the cam gears need to be replace but not sure how to get the lower one off as the book say take to dealer. and i have also been looking for the gears and chain and a complete gasket kit for it but having very lil luck. id like to go with new but have other motors that i will rob parts off of if need be, any help would be appreciated

I'm not sure how the gear comes off, but I'm sure its simple. Most likely its just a clip, but it could also be pressed on. :( As for a new one, go to www.bikebandit.com As for the gasket set, you can get seperate gaskets from bike bandit, but the best prices around are at www.denniskirk.com

The sprocket is pressed on. It will take a puller to get it off. I have reused a few of these from other motors with NO problem. If you have the parts motors by all means use them. ;)
