Hello all, I have been going crazy trying to diagnose this no spark issue on this 1984 honda atc110 I recently picked up. The 84 wiring harness was butchered, upon further investigation we found that it has a 1979-80 atc110 motor on it. I drove 5 hours round trip to pick up a 77 atc90 wiring harness, kill switch and ignition coil w/ condeser for it. I tried to hook up the wiring harness and bolt on the ignition coil. I found that the atc90 coil doesnt fit the 1984 frame but I was able to put one bolt in it to hold the atc 90 coil to the frame, I wired it best as I could and still have no spark. I took a test light to the black power wire from the stator and its flashing when I turn the motor over, I have a feeling this atc 90 ignition coil and condenser is the culprit.. any idea on how I can test this atc 90 coil? Thanks for any help
