Delrin swinger pivot

Is there an advantage or disadvantage to using Delrin for the swingarm pivot vs the stock roller bearing and thrust spacer? Doing a 200x resto mod and saw some for quads, figured I could turn a couple up pretty easily.

Delrin should last a lot longer, theoretically never need to be replaced.

I figured as much, but not being super familiar with these things I wasn't sure if there was something else I was missing. After stripping down two old swing arms and having a hell of a time on both, and finding the bearings just caked up and useless I think I'll try making some delrin ones.
