Hello everyone,
I was hoping I could find a way to fix my clutch adjustment issue. It's a 1983 ytm 225dx I recently bought. Everything is fine good until I messed with clutch adjustment screw by the oil filter. The machine won't ride. I am able to trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro it and it lights up in neutral but when I shift up into first gear, it simply revs and doesn't engage. I notice the screw and lock bolt are not tightened into the engine. Does anyone know how to adjust the clutch screw adjustment to find the correct setting? As it sits it does shift up and down but that's about it. I'm in long island if that helps. I called the local Yamaha dealer and they don't even know what I'm talking about. Any help would be great appreciated.
