Atc 110 WILL NOT RUN

I need ideas. Will not run at all. New top end didn’t run before it sparks but maybe not super strong i don’t know. I’ve tried gas and I’ve tried ether. Freshly rebuilt carb gone through throughly. Wiring kinda sketchy but I see spark. Valve timing is good clearances seem good not an expert though. I’ve ruled out fuel because I’m using ether. No gas in oil. Kill switch is off. Please help I just want to ride it! I noticed if I roll the motor over in a specific spot back and forth the carb breathes in and out of a vent in the throat of it is this normal? If you want me to send a video of it let me know and I’ll send it where ever nesscary.

was it running when you got it then stopped? did you buy a non running project? give us a little background on when it stopped running. jim

If you "just wanna ride" get something new. Old machines take a lot of work and always will.

Why? Did you bother to figure out why it didn't run or just put a new top end on it?

All gas engine need the same things. Fuel, air, compression, and spark.
If you have all 4, make sure they all are happening at the same time.
Maybe try using a drill to turn the engine over. Sometimes that faster turning is all they need for that initial start. Make sure your CDI rotor is not 180 degrees off. It will spark at the wrong time.

What year is this ATC110? I have an older 110 with points and it had spark but not enough to get it to fire under compression. Once the points were replaced and properly gapped the spark was strong and the engine now starts first pull.
