Yes,that's electric start.Yes,i do have chrome wheels for it(itp t-9's),i wanted to see how the gold ones looked(i like em!)The forks are chromed. The seat cover is from verde powersports. The axle is a stock size durablue. The brake lines are 250r ones from James Lucky. The front ones are connected to a brand new 400ex master cylinder.

Looks great! Stick with the gold rims though! Nothing says old school better than gold rims. Not sure why everyone on here is so against them, my brother has a full set of gold rims on his 03 blaster, looks killer. :-D

The shock was $800.I ordered it directly from elka.I asked if they made one for the x and they said no but they could make one. They made about 5 or 6 for the 250r at the time. The starter i got from goki. They have an ad in dirtwheels,$300.The cost of the rims and the chroming came to $250.pm me with a price if your interested.Brand new

vartiak15-Goki doesn't have a website but their number is 1-818-998-0852.They said the 350x and the fl250 odyssey are their best sellers. They don't make starters for the 200x anymore, but they do have some smaller parts leftover(wires, etc.)

The fender stickers are from west coast stickers. They have a link on the home page. The headlight plastic is a brand new oem with a carbon fiber look-a-like material on it.You can get it from www.denniskirk.com

Excellent job, man. I don't think I would have gone in that direction with it, but it looks incredible and you nailed the look you were going for. Very radical and thorough restoration.

Can you get some better shots of the seat? I don't think I like it, but I have a feeling those pictures aren't doing it justice.

Hmm. Perhaps you should try to incorporate more gold hardware into it . . . I think that would balance out the overall colour scheme. Even still, great job.

LOL! I don't remember!It wasn't very much though.

sportvette-Yes,it's worth it!After the x put me on crutches for 3 days,i thought it would be a good idea to get it.It comes with a battery holder that mounts to one side of the frame(where the grab bar bolts into). You can still use the kicker if the battery dies.It works really well, although, the battery they told me to get for it died after a few turns over.Had to get a bigger battery!Your suppose to push the kicker down a little ways(to make use of the decompression cable)push the button and release the kicker.I went with a manual decompression cable with a lever attached to the handlebars and got rid of the cable. Now i can sit, pull the lever, and hit the button!

There is no price tag,And no trades. It's an 85,the only thing that is an 86 on it is the front rotor.I know i won't get what i put into it,or probably half, but it's a mento to me.That's why i plan on keeping it.
