sold the 85 350x and 250r last weekend.
went and bought another 350x today.
not sure it was a smart move, then again it's only money right? Besides I guess I need another trike like I need another hole in my head.
So here's the run down.
it doesn't run. seller said no spark. verified no spark.
I was told the cam went bad and he bought another cam, installed it and lost spark. hopefully it's something simple.
front master cylinder needs replace
clutch lever and post needs replaced
needs a air box lid
frame to airbox hose is missing
headlight missing
air filter missing
tires go flat
found out the pin that holds the decompression lever must be missing because the lever slips out.
exh stud holes are wallered so needs drilled tapped or inserts installed.
missing the front rear fender mount
missing chain
the good????
kicks over, feels great compression
decompression works
400ex carb
GOKI starter missing motor
came with a extra bottom end
came with a extra undamaged bare head
came with full exh
front and rear brakes are there
wiring doesn't look hacked
has bottom skid plate
plastics are faded but decent
good seat pan
spare short block still has the stator assembly
case isn't messed up from a loose chain on both bottom ends
good tank, knee dent I think
Price??? 1400 bucks. Not sure that's a good, bad or stupid me for wasting $$$ price.
I've got a new front tire, extra cam, head and cylinder plus cdi , coil etc from a 87 350d
worst case, if I decide I don't feel like working on it, I can always trade it or try to sell it for what I have into it. jim
