How's it going guys, just picked up a 78 Atc 90 and I am trying to get it to start. Cam timing is set properly as well as valves set to spec, problem is the generator/flywheel t mark does not line up to the stator. I can't post a picture right now it is too big to post, the timing line is pointing down towards the shifter and it's supposed to be in line with the cam. When I try and put the timing mark in the correct spot the piston is near the bottom of the stroke. Has anyone ran into this problem or would anyone be able to point me into a direction of help?

See if it doesn’t have a sheered flywheel key . You’ll have to purchase a flywheel puller to remove the flywheel .

Sorry for the delay in response, I figured I would have to do that and ordered a puller, of course it was the wrong one. I will update when I get one and check.
