Drivetrain is super noisy, bought new clutches and pulled the engine cover off. Two pieces immediately came flying off, anyone know where they go? Second question, anything look out of the normal here? I see some scratching on the clutch casing, where are my clutch plates lol?

EDIT: looks like my pictures didnt upload

Your pieces that fell out are how the bike disengages the auto clutch to shift, they'll go between the clutch and right side cover, you'll likely have to lay the bike on its side to stack them up for reassembly. Your clutches are inside the round aluminum drum on the end of the crankshaft. If you're gonna go that far into a bike you really ought to download or buy a service manual but you can get by pretty well looking at the exploded views on a site like Partzilla

Thanks! I found a great assembly video on Youtube covering the entire RH engine case. Only thing is i'm not ready to reassemble because I found a cracked and bent shift drum stopper! My only question is regarding the placement of the shift stopper spring in relation to the case...I don't see where it should sit.
