got back to the 1st 200x that doesn't want to run sometimes. it's got a hacked together harness, but has the round cdi. a electric start on off switch, a lot of splices. this trike won't fire a new ngk plug but will fire a old champion plug. not a hot blue plug but a spark.
I rebuilt the carb, when I did get it to run it feels slow to Rev. I checked the springs in the advanced. I'm going to pull the muffler to see if its plugged. I did a compression test. 125psi on the 3rd kick.
I've got a ton of 185s parts. can I just plug in a harness and cdi from the 185s onto this 84 200x?
I've got 200x number 2 that runs great. tempted to pull the electronics off trike 2 and see if trike 1 will run correctly. but I would like to try the 185s stuff first and not strip trike 2. jim
