Just as the title says: Other than Big Al's and PK Racing, who else made aftermarket triple trees for the ATC185S (And ATC90-110 for that matter)??

extra bonus points for pictures to go with answers. Did Helm & Sons make them? Were they the same as Big Al's? PCCC?????? Help a wanna-be ATC Historian out.

Jim,

I'm almost certain those are PK racing. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I now know from more searches (here) that Helm and Sons did indeed make them as well.

All the early businesses / suppliers made their own version or were the distributor for someone else’s product. In late ’82 I built a full suspension 90/110 chassis “Valley Brake & Wheel” and the front triple setup kit was made by a local guy named Jim Cook, PK sold his kits under there name. The kit was unique in it had a few degrees rake (offset) built into them. Should have never sold it….found a very neglected used replacement in 2015. In one of the pictures, you can see the head angle offset, similar to the ’81 ATC250R.
