I have an 85 big red with no spark I have replaced the kill switch, neutral and reverse harness, and the cdi box( converted it to the 86-87 big red cdi with the pigtail) checked the stator, exciter coil, and ignition coil they all test good according to the factory manual. I even bypassed the ignition switch and kill switch. Also checked all the fuses all tested good. I'm definitely in need of some help any help would be greatly appreciated!

Aftermarket or OEM CDI ?
I’ve never had any luck with those Chinese CDI boxes .

I had the exact same issue, I tested everything and it checked out, I replaced my CDi with one from Mike's ATV and never had any problems since ....

I assume you already check the spark plug, plug wire, boot, and connection.

Mike is a very nice guy, if he doesn't have stock and you email him I am sure he will make a plan for you. www.mikesatvfix.com

I'm having trouble getting ahold of mikes atv fix. I've emailed him but no response. I also replaced the stator just to be sure. I'm lost at this point, does anyone know what else I could do or does anyone have a mikes cdi box for sale? Anyone live in Northern Indiana with a big red or sx that would be willing to let me test my cdi boxes on?

Im having the same issue no spark on my 200es, brought it not running and the wiring pretty hacked up i went through it all and deleted anything to do with the electric start so im down to the very basic’s but still have no spark im wondering
If theres a everything seems to be connected properly except a single wire out of the bottom end above the reverse shaft?
From what ive read theres a nutral safety switch that that might be my problem any ideas on how i can bypass it?
