Hello, I bought this project from a member here years ago and have not had much time to work on it. I am in need of some money, so I am contemplating selling it as is, or doing a little more work to get it to sell better. I am looking for your guy's opinion on what it might be worth.

It is a 1985 350x cut up to put and Ascott 500 motor in. I added the Trx450r rear end to it, that is not fully competed.

I have some pictures in the post below.

For me $1000 as it sits.

Fully operational and reliable ....$2000.

Top dollar trikes bone stock right down to the fasteners command the most value.

All this is my opinion......maybe someone out there that dreams of an Ascot powered trike with hints of originality a lot more.

Good luck

can't help on value, but being a incomplete project is going to lose alot of potential buyers. If its not to much work, can you get it running so its easier to sell? jim

I'm guessing the frame is reinforced on top as it looks like the down tube was removed to fit the engine?

The down tube was booger welded, probably from a xl500 frame. I have a length of chromoly tubing to replace it, I just haven't figured out how I want to do the engine cradle. Alot of these style conversions had no tubes under the engine as that is how the dirbikes were. I would rather have the full frame underneath for strength. But want the motor to easily be removable.

The motor is a 500cc thumper with electric start.

I agree, it would make me nervous riding it hard without that section of frame . . .
